Barry Posted July 24, 2007 Posted July 24, 2007 I've noticed, for years, that there has always been a strange predeliction with asking £10, £20+ for recently released 'house' records that are deemed soulful enough to be played on the soul scene - I can remeber 'Deja Vu' back in the day being flogged for £20 when I still had it in the racks @ it's correct £2.99 - why is is it? The majority can be found on Ebay for 99p.
Simon M Posted July 24, 2007 Posted July 24, 2007 because there's one born every day, barry No one looks at cheap 12'' records , well apart from me

Guest Netspeaky Posted July 24, 2007 Posted July 24, 2007 £10 seems to be a standard starting price on the soul scene, until we ALL stop paying it that's what it's gonna be.
MikeHinNewJersey Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 I've been watching a few over priced bits on e-bay "Buy It Now" they don't sell and yet the sellers just back 'em back up at the same price...its been going on for weeks now, but I'm not going to cave in and overpay
