I as always appreciate any feedback............ mel

Hi Mel, According to BMI the "Some Kind of Wonderful" you're friend is on about is indeed the one written by Goffin/King and has been recorded by Marvin, The Drifters, Jay & the Americans, Carole King, Little Eva, The Outsiders, probably others too....the Soul Brothers Six/Grand Funk was written/recorded by John Ellison and also done by Buddy Guy, Huey Lewis, Conway Twitty among others.....hope this helps Mel.
