I lately came across FRED HUGHES-DONT LET ME DOWN for £5 in an antiques shop that sells a few bits of old vinyl. It looks like an original copy on VEE-JAY but am not sure. Was this tune booted and if so how can you tell?

Seem to remember, this is one of those 45's that looks like a boot. Very little info on the label, and very poor quality sound. Don't think it's been booted though.....I could be wrong rolleyes.gif

The poor quality sound is due to the production. However, I think the dodgy production really adds to the atmosphere of the track. It's one of my all time favourite tracks  .
