May be able to help you there, over the past year or so i have been compiling a data base of photographs of West Midlads soulies over the past 30+ years, many people have allowed me access to their pics and i have at present around 400, from early 70.s to the present.

The majority can be found on this sight in the "members gallery" section, posted by myself. there are pics from all nighters and local do's, not sure about all you mentioned, but they cover all the Wolves, Kiddi, Dudley Wallsall Worcs. Redditch Cov. n Brum regulars from that period.

If you want i can send a disc of all the photos if you tell me where to mail it to, as it is forever growing week on week.

As a footnote i would appreciate any pics of in particular Phil Shelton Smokey Pete Smith Paul Clifford Billy Waggs Black and White H Donald both Swoz's Snake Arms Beanhead Daz from Walsall and any other of my old aquaintances, in order to provide as full a record as poss.

When i get enough ill do 'em on disc and give everyone a copy as a record.

Hope this is of use Harpo

Yeah, the 86 club did operate from the Nautical William in I would think the late 80ts. It lasted for about 6 months until the owners decided to turn it into a nursing home or something similar. I went past it on Sat & it's unrecognisable to the lovely building it was. The Black Horse is looking shabby as well. It's been up for sale for a while. I saw Pep last year & he said he was tempted to put a offer in for it before he moved to Wales. Both places in their prime were brilliant - records & atmosphere as good as I've ever known. Love to see some photos too - Regards Ade
