Cunnie Posted July 4, 2007 Posted July 4, 2007 (edited) Thought a few of the Ska/Lovers/Reggae fans on here might like to have a listen to Bitty McLean's new album. Clips of every track on the link below. https://www.juno.co.uk/ppps/products/274102...=bitty%20mclean Edited July 4, 2007 by CUNNIE
Pete S Posted July 4, 2007 Posted July 4, 2007 Listened to all of the tracks and after the brilliant "On Bond Street" album this will take a bit of getting used to. Thought I heard backing tracks to I Can't Stand It, Bam Bam, even one that sounded like The Heptones Change Gonna Come. But the best of the lot was Tribute To Jackie Mittoo which was an instrumental of Phyllis Dillon's Don't Stay Away which is fantastic.
Cunnie Posted July 4, 2007 Author Posted July 4, 2007 Know exactly what you mean Pete. One of those things you want to like but end up hating or vise versa. Do I buy it & wish I hadn't or not buy it & regret it later? Quite liked Brother Man (1st track) & the Jackie Mitto tribute but everything sounded kinda familiar.
