The Young And Brilliant Andy Rix Just Gave Some Extra Background On The Song.

In a 1967 Letter From Scott English To Richard 'Popcorn' Wylie, Mr. English Was Attempting To Have The Song Recorded By THE PLATTERS. Didn't Happen But The Jimmy Radcliffe Version Is Simply Ace!

The Song Was Published By Claus Ogerman's Helios Music Publishing Company And For A Time Jimmy Was Like The In House Vocalist For The Outfit, Including All The Warm Up Material Claus Would Arrange & Conduct For The Creed Taylor Produced Antonio Carlo Jobim Session That Went On May 22, 23, 24 and June 15, 1967 For The Infamous "WAVE" LP. Unfortunately The Wave LP Remained Completely Instrumental.
