I had a list through last thursday with it on at £200

Saw it as well Simon on Capon's list.

Bet it's sold now though & bet the Manship copy goes for a lot more than £200.

Not aware of a 12"

There was one on e bay a couple of months ago that kept being relisted as it didnt sell. I was waiting for it to go down to £100 smile.gif

As the saying goes "it s only worth what someone would pay for it!"

Unfortunately sold mine last year for a snip @ £30 !

Just goes to show value against demands commands an inflated value. Not that rare a tune in the early 80s . Bet quite a few collectors have one lurking in their box... unsure.gif

I really thought this was a much more difficult tune than it appears from the posts above

:)

This was around in reasonable quantity in the 80's, never a common record, but not impossible to find. His other one is far rarer, but sadly not as good as a dancer, though it's a reasonably good soul record :thumbsup:

A £25 record on soul bowl lists around 1984 , whilst Tony Troutman "whats the use" , and Pro Fas were at £2

Soul Sam had it coverd up as Larry Houston " Mend this broken heart" around 1982 /83 :thumbsup:

Sam had loads of awesome newies , early 80's , some he still plays today !!

Those were days - like everyone else I wish I'd have bought more at the time. Wasted all my time in those days - stuck on the dance floor for eight hours.

:thumbsup:

It's sickening mate isn't it! Someone posted some up on here a while back - makes good reading. I think Sean H posted some other lists up as well. It's simply - unbelievable.

I find it interesting that even after all these years Johns lists still look the same - in terms of layout etc. It's like Norfolk ain't moved forward in terms of technology!

:thumbsup::lol:
