Drew3 Posted June 23, 2007 Posted June 23, 2007 (edited) There's a record on The Soulclub Jukebox.....Make It Easy by Pinkooshins!!!!! Not the worst record I've ever heard but certainly the first time I've heard it. Quite catchy when played a few times. Strange name, is it a 'cover up' name and the origional artiste's name was lost forever when the cover-up material was removed so it stayed Pinkooshins? (has something like that ever happened! ). Is this someone more well known but who put the record out under a pseudonym? Or just a 'one off' group with a daft name? KTF. Drew Edited June 23, 2007 by Drew3
Jaco Posted June 23, 2007 Posted June 23, 2007 Described as being a "popular 60's club band" who recorded for Mercury - must be their real name and yes it is daft!
Chalky Posted June 23, 2007 Posted June 23, 2007 this has been mentioned on site before as an old Yate spin.
Guest SIMONF Posted June 23, 2007 Posted June 23, 2007 Ian Clarke used to play this in the late 70's at yate very average tune. Simon

I haven't heard the Janus 45 (saw it on ebay once), but I would guess that they were a rock group that ended up recording a soulish cut (e.g. the mercury record).
Dave Morris Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 I've got this on Mercury.Very sort of sing along.Haven't heard it out for few years now. Dave.
