I've been looking on the net for some info on Ray Whitley who wrote & originally recorded I'VE BEEN HURT & HEY GIRL DON'T BOTHER ME. The only Ray Whitley I can find is a sort of Roy Rogers type singing cowboy. Please tell me it's not the same bloke.

i asked the same question a few months ago, look back through old threads and you might find the answer, although i seem to remember no one was sure, good hunting
