Guest Chris Waterman Posted February 6, 2005 Posted February 6, 2005 Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Richard tells me due to other commitments he will not be appearing. link Kev Thanks for that, I am sure Dave will be in contact with him and sort out any confusion Thanks again Chris W
Guest Posted February 6, 2005 Posted February 6, 2005 (edited) Why can't Richard Searling be there?. This man is responsible for me wanting every godamn track he played on radio hallam in the early 80's, surely he would not turn down the chance of playing with a line up like this (and one that he would fit in quite easily with). Hope RIchard sees sense and gives the punters what they want......... COME ON LEAVE THE F********** POLITICS AT HOME FOR ONCE.....JESUS....... Edited February 6, 2005 by Brett

Guest mattmale Posted February 7, 2005 Posted February 7, 2005 Why is this in Stoke and not at a venue in Stafford? It doesn't make sense, it's like having a Wigan anniversary in Warrington.

It doesn't make sense, it's like having a Wigan anniversary in Warrington. link Matt, Burslam, Stoke is in STAFFORDshire Whats the problem they have had well attended Wigan Anniversaries in Stoke, Blacburn and Manchester that have been well attended. Wiganer1 Posted February 7, 2005 Posted February 7, 2005 to duncan from stoke hi mate its mark from nuneaton havent seen you in donkeys years
Mace Posted February 7, 2005 Posted February 7, 2005 Why is this in Stoke and not at a venue in Stafford? It doesn't make sense, it's like having a Wigan anniversary in Warrington. link There's no venue we know of in Stafford suitable for this event, that would allow an allnighter...though some-one will obviously tell me different now. Stoke is therefore the nearest location in Staffordshire, and Queens Hall, Burslem is an ideal venue. Regards, Mace.

Cheltsoulnights Posted February 7, 2005 Posted February 7, 2005 Why is this in Stoke and not at a venue in Stafford? It doesn't make sense, it's like having a Wigan anniversary in Warrington. link Why not? there was a Wigan Anniversary in Stoke last year and in Blackburn if memory serves me right Also the Top of the world now has a Ginormous bar in the middle of the dance floor
Cheltsoulnights Posted February 7, 2005 Posted February 7, 2005 Interested to know whether he originally said he'd do it, and if so what changed his mind. link Qoute from Dave Thorley I hope that Richard can still make it, But the event is about the spirit and greatness of Stafford and will most certainly be well supported. A big name Stafford DJ is currently as we speak being approached to fill the gap if neccessary if due to work commitments Richard can't make it.
