eg love slipped through my fingers by...

sam williams

herman hitson

nate jackson?

i'm sure there at least one more for lstmf....

what's the song that's been done the most?

it's Nate Adams, Searling old Herman Hitson cover up from Wigan, Atlantic studio disc.

Herman Hitsons version is on a cd of his.

Could make this a new topic, but as its so similar, whats the most used 'karaoke' Northern Soul song thats sung?

Must admit to singing Jackie Wilsons - Sweetest Feeling, at the top of my voice in Tenerife one year. Much to the disgust of my offspring.

'Reach out for me' must be up there (for most covered 'Northern' track)

Nige Shaw used to collect different versions of certain tunes, and if I remember correctly I'm sure he had something like 14 versions of either 'Reach out for me' or 'I can't wait until I see my baby's face'

I might be way off the mark...though I'm sure Nige Brown will know better.
