Hello soul people, another weekend another soulville :o)

Due to some schedule changes at Leith FM my next show will be on

Saturday afternoon 2-3.30 so you will have time to listen in before

going to the Soul Stew pre-club sessions in the Southern bar on South

Clerk Street (4-9pm Special guest this week Gary Young a man who knows

his music, not to be missed)

Hopefully after this one off Saturday slot Soulville will be a regular

fixture on the Leith FM schedule.

Big thanks to all of those who mailed me after hearing the pre-record

show that Leith put out last Friday. It's great to get feedbak on the

This is what I played on Saturday. Quite a bit of new soul/gospel stuff going about just now so things are looking good for new music. That tuomo track sounds like a Mecca tune from back in the day and the amazing thing is it comes from Finland.

Love the Bamboo's stepper sounding like a Miami mid 70s Betty Wright....and more from the wonderful Kashious CD.

No sign of a regular slot yet. Leith FM is still finding its feet and it's a real eye opener what goes into running a radio station. They are crying out for people to get involved in all aspects from admin/techies/web design/shift managers to DJ's.
