The group out of Detroit I know nothing about is the Bright Stars, the sound clip before the one you are interested in. This is by Andrew Smith, he was a session drummer at Motown in the 60's. The story goes that he cut a 5 track demo, that I have. He took it along to Berry, as he wanted the chance to release a record, but in short Berry told him he was a session drummer. So the disc lay with the producer, until he sold it to me about 10 years ago. Hope that helps Edited June 14, 2007 by Dave Thorley
