Hi Chris, best of luck with the show I'll try to tune in. I'm doing one here in Edinburgh see link "not another radio show" It's a great experiment this community radio malarky I only hope we get the support we need as the stations are run on a shoestring. I'm not sure the folks on here realise that we need their support and that can just mean an email to the studio to let the manager know that there is an audience out there. Some of our music is a bit "deep" for folks used to commercial radio so any email/forum/texts bigging up ALL the soul shows out there may help ensure a longer life for anybody's show.

I think people take all the web based stuff for granted now and forget the days of Robbie Vincent's 2 hours on radio 1 as being the only national show and the dearth of decent radio we had to endure, well at least here in Scotland.

We need your support people email the stations and get involved we need to let the station managers know we are listening.

Hi George, its not me who's doing the show. I've emailed and texted the show most weeks like some sort of pest also told a few mates and now it can go worldwide thru the power of this site. We had a community radio here a few years ago, it used to run thru the summer, then nothing, now i think some people are trying to sort it and get it on air again.
