Pete S Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 Thing I remember about those days, we used to go to Newcastle Tiffs and we always knew there was no train home if we stayed late but it never seemed to bother us, hitching a lift or whatever. Totally fearless in those days.

Not a bad venue if I remember right,my biggest memory is spilling a boiling hot coffee over Tony Worot & his bird while they were snogging. He was not amused ,though strangely enough she was, perhaps none went on her

Didn't think there was much of an atmosphere (too bright and open), so left there and went to Notts Palais. A very foggy day, if I remember rightly.

Tony Foster Posted November 11, 2007 Posted November 11, 2007 Anybody remember going here on a sunday night think it was colin curtis on his own mid 70,s mark I remember it very well. Getting off the train at Longport station after a Saturday night at the Casino. Just popping in at home for a quick change, as I live in the area it was handy, and then off to Tiffanys All-dayer. Great line ups and great tunes. A few things I could remember being played. Syng Mcgowan - That's what i want Bobby Paris - I walked away Jay d Martin - By yourself Camp - marching Jewels - We got togetherness Flaming Emeralds - Have some everybody Eddie Regan - Playin' hide and seek Just a few to name. Also a few of the DJ's Brian Rae Soul Sam - Who always played These things will keep me loving you - Velvelettes and caused a stormer at the time as I he had copy of Wakefield Sun - Trypt on love. Which I think was covered as Eddie Jason? Dave Evison - JJ Barnes - How Long fame at the all dayers Richard Searling who also guested at the Adulte all-dayers in Burslem. Now how many people can remember these? I seem to remember him playing Sylvetti - Spring Rain at the time amongst other Monster tunes Chris Savory also took a turn behind the decks Pep - Top Man and Keith Minshull who played YMCA - VILLAGE PEOPLE at one all-dayer - which I think was for a bet!!! Cheers for now Tony
