shute Posted June 2, 2007 Posted June 2, 2007 Have an O'Jays '' The Greatest Hits'' LP on United Artists - UAS-5655 no date showing for release Includes their Northern Soul Rarety ''I'll Never Forget You'' Question ..... is this rare ? how much ? Never seen another one !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Guest Posted June 2, 2007 Posted June 2, 2007 Sorry to disappoint. This LP is a 1972 "re-issue" United Artists trying to cash in on the O'Jays monster hit "Love Train" by putting a GREATEST HITS in the shops. great track listing so we sell it for £20 but it bis pretty easy to find. It's the O'jays 1967 Minit LP "Soul Sounds" with a very similar track listing that's rare @ £100
45cellar Posted June 2, 2007 Posted June 2, 2007 (edited) When I first saw the thread, I thought it was about this one. This is their Bell Label Output though, and is on a Silver Label, so possibly re-Issue too? Edited June 2, 2007 by 45cellar
shute Posted June 2, 2007 Author Posted June 2, 2007 this is the cover of the LP in question........thanks for the info' JM
