I'm very tempted on that Jimmy Ruffin UK Tamla 45, I've had it on his MFP UK budget LP for years, you're right, it is absolutely UNBELIEVABLE !!!!!!!

when I heard it for the first time a few years back, I thought it is the best thing I heard in ages..

only got released on a 45 on UK Tamla, as far as I know?!

when I heard it for the first time a few years back, I thought it is the best thing I heard in ages..

only got released on a 45 on UK Tamla, as far as I know?!

And Soul Satisfaction 4 or 5. I haven't got the track lists in front of me but as soon as I heard it I thought 'I'm having that on my CD' :D . It's the B side to something like the re-issue of 'What becomes...' - now you've got me looking for the sleeve notes lol. Jo

just a short update, the following records are either on hold or sold:

I agree but I prefer the flip "When love is new". I think mr prizecock is an aquired taste his "I wantcha Baby" on Chisound is another great dancer.

Two great Billy Paul tunes off the "When Love Is New" LP mentioned in Voices mag many moons ago.Not too keen on Arthur's vocals, very similar to Loo Rolls,a bit too cabaret.

there seems to be a bit of a buzz about this record, could have sold a few copies, but had only one left.

If someone else is after a copy, try Thorsten and Simones website www.puresoul.de there are still copies at a great price.

He may not be the most exciting singer in the world, but two great dancers, right?!

just should mention that I would accept offers on the items that haven't sold yet..
