Craig W Posted January 26, 2005 Posted January 26, 2005 Ive recieved records packed in strange ways but todays has to be the worst. A 45 arrived from the States in a mailing envelope wrapped up in an adult incontence pad! It was wrapped around the record and sealed with the sticky things on the sides. The only good things where that the record was undamaged and the pad was un-used.Anyone else had records packed like this? What sort of feedback do I leave now?
Little-stevie Posted January 26, 2005 Posted January 26, 2005 Tell the guy he is a bit of a shit...or a lot if he is wearing stuff like that....I hope they did not send you a used one????????
Guest in town Mikey Posted January 26, 2005 Posted January 26, 2005 You could ask him the best cream to get the nasty looking rash you have now, on your hands.
Lindsay Posted January 26, 2005 Posted January 26, 2005 oh dear im sorry but that just cracked me up...tears in my eyes from laughing
Gene-r Posted January 26, 2005 Posted January 26, 2005 (edited) I guess you could leave positive feedback to the effect of: "Record arrived well-padded"!! Edited January 26, 2005 by Gene-R
Guest Posted January 26, 2005 Posted January 26, 2005 (edited) This was the funniest thing I've seen all day . What great fun it would have been if they would have wrapped the record in a used one, then you could really talk about taking the piss. Edited January 26, 2005 by Guest
wendy Posted January 26, 2005 Posted January 26, 2005 yeuck! that's disgusting my pal got a 45 wrapped once in bubble wrap & stuck in an ordinary envelope. surprisingly it arrived in one piece

What sort of feedback do I leave now? link You can't really leave neagtive feedback as the record arrived in the condition you paid for. Would be unfair really... Altho that is wild packaging! I bought an LP recently from Oz, and it arrived in a pizza box! Strange I thought, but when you think about it, it was a safe way of sending all the way from Australia. She had stuck the LP down and the sturdy box helped prevent damage... Are you sure it was an adult incontinence pad? We all know how big the yanks are, it coulda been a normal nappy for their size babies!
Craig W Posted January 26, 2005 Author Posted January 26, 2005 (edited) Heres the evidence. Shitsville USA pants.bmp Edited January 26, 2005 by CRAIG W

jazzyjas Posted January 26, 2005 Posted January 26, 2005 Hey...I've got an idea. Why don't you throw that Steve Mancha record on the turntable, talc the floor (and your ass), put on the piss pants and see what happens! Might be a new level of comfort! KTF Jas but then again, if I ever turned up a Salvadors 45 at the flea market, I might need to throw those on!
Guest Posted January 26, 2005 Posted January 26, 2005 Heres the evidence. Shitsville USA link I'd normally aim this at PeteS, Craig, but as its a Wolvo address he probably thought it was fitting.
