Billy Bass - I'm Coming To - Pama

Last week I expressed my surprise that John Manship had put this in his auction because, simply, it's not in the slightest bit rare. It went for something like £90 when it could have been bought off me in excellent condition for £15 or £20. So I thought I'd stick it on ebay and see if there was a demand for it. After 5 days, 1 bid, £9.99, 3 watchers.

Got to admit that the flip - I need your love so bad - is one of my favourite records. Absolutely brilliant piece of deep soul.

Not saying there's anything wrong with the record - just that it is a bizarre record to put in an auction

Totally agree with you Pete - I was surprised to see it on auction - a nice record but fairly easy to find on UK Pama - in reality I'd say it was harder on the US release - Phillygroove !

Last spare I had went for 15UKP.

Our auction choices are all about making it interesting, nice to look at and getting it talked about & visited..NOT just about rarity and money.. the Pama sleeve is so beautiful we thought it would add some colour.. £78 was the winning bid.
