Ran this last year and musically it was one of the best nights we had all year. Thought I'd start this thread again to ask for your recommendations on underplayed cheap tunes that DESERVE more of an outing. I'll kick off with these beauties. There's no reason to pay more than £10 for this 45.

Any one got a scan to put up. that's an interesting comment just because all 3 groups you're describing are from DC, must just be the DC sound you're hearing

Dave ps forgot to add my personal favorite - The Five Stairsteps - Playgirls Love (Windy C) - still available in Wood St Market, Walthamstow for £8 - every time I am in there I am tempted to buy up the rest of the copies just because its such a great tune
