FrankM Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 A few plays from Buffs club Glasgow Fri 21st. Charles Drain - I'm gonna stay - RCA J soulmac. link A surprisingly good night, with some great music from John, Fraser Dunn and Butch from Dundee. (For some reason or other I always thought Butch was a girl's name in Dundee.) The Royal Andeluvian Order of Buffalos has an L shaped room as a lounge bar in its Glasgow premises. A portrait of the Queen overloooks the dancefloor and she frowns at talc throwers.A compact dance floor meant not too much room but enough space for the crowd that was there. Lots of people jammed round tables which meant you had to chat to your neighbours. Lager was £1:80 a pint and I stayed till almost the end so it must have been good.
