Guest Ferrett Posted May 11, 2007 Posted May 11, 2007 Just picked up a copy of She's Gone by Charles Drain. I was aware of his 70's material, but have never heard this 60's record in 20 years of attending soul venues. Perhaps his first record???? WHAT A TUNE. The vocals and drums just blow me away. Somebody get this played!!! Only £25 at the moment - BUY IT

Their original version, on Wand, of "Two Stupid Feet" is fantastic and also his first record, predating the Checker as far as I'm aware... Edited May 12, 2007 by TONY ROUNCE
John Reed Posted May 12, 2007 Posted May 12, 2007 Funny enough, this was on Simon T's cheapie tunes CD that poped through the letter box this morning. An absolute fabulous tune. IMO cheap at double the price. John
