Everything that's on Soul Satisfaction Vols 2,3,4 & 5 - but I would say that, wouldn't I :wicked::huh: My favourite at the moment is Singin' Sammy Ward 'Pretty Baby' ft. Stevie Wonder on harmonica....maybe I can sneak that on SS6 - let's see :shades: Jo

Ady, are you saying that you thought Frank Wilson was singing 'Tell Me' or a track similar? I had a track on SS3 that had been attributed to Smokey Robinson but when they got the master tape off the shelf, it was Frank Wilson - 'Til you've been gone'. If anyone's got SS3, could they post the track - i'm in the middle of moving and everything's packed away. Jo

Hi jo,yeah i was out and about not sure were, the tune played was Frank Wilson "Tell me baby" (or supposed to be) .Soon as it started i thought of the Vows and "Tell Me" .If not it was very close to it unless Frank had wrote it..not Sure however a great sounding track either way..

Ady ps hope the move goes well

At last, someone else who loves this.

Been into Motown since 68 and Northern since 70, and this is the best record I have ever heard.

Bought it when the Motown Sings Treasures CD came out. When it came on I almost cried.

Unsurpassable, unbeatable soul. Can't rate it highly enough.

Just too many to choose from !

Talking of Motown i had a nice surprise last night was playing a nice audition copy of 'Isley Bros - Take Some Time Out For Love', one which i would definatley add to the list by the way ! Flipped it over to play 'Just Ain't Enough Love' on tother side & what a joy to the ears ! It's a differnt take to the T54146 Just Aint Enough Love issue, there is the addition of a barritone sax (i think) 10 x better !!

There's too many good tracks to pick but i think i would say a few like

Diana Ross and the Supremes - Just a Little Misunderstanding

Jimmy Ruffin - He Who Picks A Rose

Isley Brothers - This Old Heart of Mine and

Isley Brothers - Stop in the Name Of Love (by far the best version recorded)
