There are lots of same-title / different lyrics.

By now, I can recall on:

"Let The Good Times Roll" - Bobby Blue Bland & BB King - Bunny Sigler cover of Shirley & Lee - Little Beaver,...

"Time" - Mighty Clouds Of Joy cover of the one by Jackie Moore - Lou Rawls,...

"Goin' Places" - Michael Henderson - Jacksons

"I Miss You" - The Dells - Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes - The Manhattans

And also same-titled albums by very different artists and concept (as "Survival" by O'Jays and Bob Marley & The Wailers or "Black & Blue" by Blue Notes and Rolling Stones,...)

The blenders brought out a record in 1953 and then did another version in which they had changed one word in it to give to dj's for a bit of a crack. It was "dont mess around with love" and the under the table version exchanged "mess" for "f**k " !! ohmy.gif apart from that it was the same.

How about The Velvelettes---These Things Will Keep Me Loving You.

Exactly the same tune but completely different lyrics on the single from the version on Motown Chartbusters 6 (which happens to be the version also put out on the This is Northern Soul, Motown CD that Chris King put together)

But it was released into the mainstream, like lots of other Motown

It wasn"t an unearthed gem from some unheard of label

So lots of non NS people would recognise it

I know, I am being picky arent I sorry

2 songs by the same artist with same title but different song which is
