Guest Posted May 9, 2007 Posted May 9, 2007 HI ALL AM LOOKING FOR RECORD AND HAVING NO LUCK WITH 45 SO THINK MAYBE LP ONLY. JERRY BUTLER-REACH OUT FOR ME ANY HELP WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED NEV Here in Spain was highly difficult to found something by Jerry Butler (from Vee Jay to PIR passing trough Fonatana, Mercury or Motown). All I got on vinyl from Mr. IceMan I founded in second hand stores and pressed in the US ("Love's On The Menu", "The Love We Have / We had", "Love Me", "Suite For The Single Girl",...) except a spanish edition under Vee Jay License "For Your Precious Love" in the Aligator label. In 1998 I found the two albums in one CD "Nothing Says I Love You Like I Love You" + "Best Love" by Westside (UK). Very good cover of this Bacharach classic. Another one (very different) I likes is by Michael Henderson.

According to the comments by Lewis Dene in the CD booklet, there was only two 45's edited from "The Best Love" album: "The Best Love" and the duet with Silk's female vocalist Debra Henry "Don't Be An Island" (peaked #49 and #75 respectively on the R&B charts). Don't says what ones were on the B sides (?)...
