Guest in town Mikey

I'll take a gross at that price. Looking at £50-£70 I'd say.

Even saw it in a box years ago for £90

being without you, real one with Nashville matrix maybe about £20 ex ????? anyone knows?

Mobbsy,

Great record and a popular spin for me at Stoke niters among others a few years back. Sold mine @ 2 years ago for £100 and it was only in the sales box for a matter of hours. Not as easy to come by nowadays. Prpoer copies are a deep sea-green colour. The boots were a much lighter, pasty looking affair with bubbled labels.

Mobsy,

There's two boots on Maurice Williams..

1. Burgundy Label with Gold text

2. Green Label with silver text

both made in vinyl

The Original was vinyl with a "Nashvile Matrix" in the deadwax

Green label with Gold Text.

A solid £100 all day long.. in clean condition.

Flip it over, a great Northern mid-tempo with soundalike Blue Beat horns!!!

Used to play this locally about 25 years ago covered up as Lou Johnson. Great Track. Bad sound quality though if I remember correctly

bought one of these off pete smith recently. 60 quid in Ex cond. thanks again pete!

a superb record, very atmospheric, heard it described once upon a time as the sound of 76...

:shades: I would agree it peaked in 76-thats when the burgandy boot surfaced if I remember corectly
