Val (Chunky) Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 The red one is the 1st issue with the disco mix on the flip
Helena Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 Don't you people browse the net at all? Craig Moerer's got 25 copies of it... $60 each. Darkness #102. CM should really give me 10% of the profit or something... Big spin for Jonte at our soul club in Malmo, quite nice.
Jason S Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 ...Moerer's also got some of the 103 by the looks of it which he's listed for the flip but has Answer Me on t'other side. Nice record - nice to see it getting some spins elsewhere
Marc Forrest Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 Nice record - nice to see it getting some spins elsewhere Yes, always a rush to and on the floor when I spin it...played it once in the UK and cleared the floor with it though

Yep that puzzled me too, I noticed it started to go for few quid on ebay, mainly the Watched The Rain Hit Your Window one, and all the time they were listed on CM, picked up 102 & 103 for ten quid each a few months ago, noticed that he has increased the price now but still seem to be less than what a listed one goes for on ebay.
Val (Chunky) Posted May 3, 2007 Posted May 3, 2007 val can you sort me one with the disco mix ,you know i love disco I know you do....I can remember you dancing in your silver hot pants at Notts Ritz
Val (Chunky) Posted May 4, 2007 Posted May 4, 2007 I had 2 mint copies of this in my sales box for quite a while......... they're both gone now but I thought they would of been snapped up
Guest Posted May 4, 2007 Posted May 4, 2007 No people don't browse the net, cause we've got it for £40 used to sell it @ £20.00 and a very good seller it was too. A Tint Of Darkness where a Oakland, ca harmony band, who Rip recorded to sing wonderful harmony ballads which he released 4 45s on his own Starfire label in 1979. The first press of A Tint Of Darkness was # 102 but the one to own for me is 103 with "I WATCHED THE RAIN HIT YOUR WINDOW" on the flip, both pressed the same year

Flashwatcher I think is the title of the 45 I got.

Marc

He's put the price up then, he used to sell these for $5 a pop when I got mine off him.
