Steve G
Sorry Steve, You've lost me there. A cover version of "What's going on" just went on ebay for $3,300 or something like it. There's a couple of different versions around but that is the most xpensive. Link to comment Social source share

Guest Rich Walker
How is this going down at Northern events then? I know it's been popular on the Funk scene for quite a while now, but didn't think it would be as apt' for the Northern scene. Should probably point out that this track has been comp'ed on a fantastic compilation by Josh Davis (AKA DJ Shadow) and the legendary Mr Keb Darge! Funk Spectrum Vol.1: Real Funk for Real People. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Funk-Spectrum-Vol-...d/dp/B00000IBEV All the best, Rich. Link to comment Social source share
Guest TONY ROUNCE
and none as good as Marvin ...apart from Donny Hathaway's, which is just as good. The Undisputed Truth's cut on their "Face To face" album is pretty formidable, too. And if you like 'oddball', Tom Clay's 'version' on his "What the World Needs Now" set is all that and more.... ...so, in the final analysis, that's one version as good and two versions nearly as good. Marvin's live version is pretty decent, too, of course... Edited May 1, 2007 by TONY ROUNCE Link to comment Social source share
