Guest Trevski Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 I am just curious because if you would have asked me yesterday I would still have said its a 10 record Maybe £15
Guest Trevski Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 Phew, thanks god... It's the old "demand over rarity" thing. Someone plays it out, then another takes it up and soon everybody wants one again. Look at Baby Washington "Leave me alone" a couple of years ago. £15 record, gets plays, Got up to £150, then all the fuss died down, people got fed up with it, now you can hardly give 'em away
Guest Trevski Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 Which Mary Love? Chris https://cgi.ebay.com/Mary-Love-Turned-My-Bi...1QQcmdZViewItem
Guest Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 and it'll go even more crazy now that it was background music in Neneh Cherrys cooking programme last night!
Mick Reed Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 could it be the b side there after sounds great.
Guest Trevski Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 could it be the b side there after sounds great. "B" side is my prefrence!
Guest Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 "B" side is my prefrence! i agree.... " i'm in your hands " is the better side. This has been pressed on the same label and i noticed the seller didnt state whether it was an original or not!! Hard to tell a real one too...bit lighter in colour i think.

bri pinch Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 WOULD'VE THOUGHT THIS IF IT WAS A UK KING COPY, BUT ON USA MODERN . BRI.

Guest mel brat Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 think it was pressed on uk king on blue and green?? Do you mean the 1965 issue?, or has there been a UK bootleg I don't know about? I know it was reissued on KENT...
Pete S Posted April 27, 2007 Posted April 27, 2007 Think you're being a bit harsh, this has never been a £15 record really, I'd ask £40 for a US original. Sound quality on the bootleg is poor by the way, dubbed off a scratchy disc.
Guest mobbsy Posted April 27, 2007 Posted April 27, 2007 Do you mean the 1965 issue?, or has there been a UK bootleg I don't know about? I know it was reissued on KENT... sure ive seen it on blue king and green king.

Guest Andy Kempster Posted May 3, 2007 Posted May 3, 2007 (edited) speaking of mary love, what is 'lay this burden down' going for? Edited May 3, 2007 by Andy Kempster
Pete S Posted May 3, 2007 Posted May 3, 2007 sure ive seen it on blue king and green king. It's not on a green King mate but the blue is a peculiar shade when you see it in real life!
