Guest
would just like to add a little bit of info on the Compacts, they comprised of six brothers and one sister from the brown family, the record came out in 1975 and i think was the last release on the label, not sure on this can someone comfirm this last bit? great double sider been after it for a while now wish i had bid on the one john had on ebay recentley but being a tight arse don't like paying over a tenner on records The a side that's how my world began was co written by ernie harwell legendary baseball hall of fame radio announcer for the Detroit Tigers This info about the Compacts came from Detroit Gold vol 1 which came out on solid smoke in the 80's and contains both sides of the Compacts and some other very nice tunes worth picking up Good luck in finding a copy by the way, i'll keep looking with my tenner you never know Andy Link to comment Social source share
