boba Posted April 21, 2007 Posted April 21, 2007 Morris Vaughn - Make it look good - Fontana Morris Vaughn - Help me - Gatetown Answers to Love - It was real - Lion thank you answers to love is mainly known by sweet soul collectors, it order for it to be worth something you need it with the flip and not as the double-a side. The answers to love are the same group as the answers on crash and scorpion, by the way.

boba Posted April 22, 2007 Posted April 22, 2007 (edited) i found a promo copy with double a-side, what a fantastic sweet soul song! no one knows the morris vaughn on fontana? i think it's top notch! I just won the gatetown one M- on ebay for $30, no one else bid. So that doesn't really tell you the value. I think the morris vaughn on fontana is good and is actually pretty hard, but I got it very cheap recently (from someone on here who had it on his list and then put it on ebay when no one bought from his list). I really don't see either title around. Edited April 22, 2007 by boba
Sean Hampsey Posted April 22, 2007 Posted April 22, 2007 no one knows the morris vaughn on fontana? i think it's top notch! I've had the Morris Vaughn on Fontana for decades... on a UK Fontana Demo. Both sides "My Love Keeps Growing" and "Make It look Good" are, as you say, top notch. I played both sides to Tats Taylor two weeks ago. Having never heard them before he was most impressed! As for plays 'out' I once played "My Love Keeps Growing" at Clifton Hall (went down like a lead balloon) and seem to recall Rod Dearlove giving "Make it look Good" an early hour spin at Thorne. Certainly a sleeping giant double sider and quite hard on US but seriously rare on UK for sure! Sean
