Scallybob Posted April 21, 2007 Posted April 21, 2007 Just been in the new Grand Arcade and had a look at the Casino Cafe. Nice that the venue is recognised but if they were going to put scans of records up as a big mural you'd reckon they would be originals, not boots like the Lou Pride.
soulAdequateNP Posted April 21, 2007 Posted April 21, 2007 Possibly a marketing/recognition thing - hardly anyone has an original (obviously, it wouldn't be rare otherwise ) but a hell of a lot of people either still have or once had the boot and therefore the boot label will have a higher recognition value among the masses?
Soulsmith Posted April 21, 2007 Posted April 21, 2007 (edited) Maybe they should have chosen something a little more apt, how about Jay & The Techniques - Apples, Peaches, Pumpkin Pie or The 5 Royales - Catch That Tea maybe even Gerri Granger - I Go To Pies Edited April 21, 2007 by Soulsmith
