Mr Outsider Posted April 19, 2007 Posted April 19, 2007 (edited) Please email, no pm's: liamlarge@hotmail.com Alan Trajan - Speak To Me Clarissa (MCA) M- £60 Funky mod-psyche masterpiece sees Mr Trajan attempting to coax Clarissa out of an overdose. Weird, dark and brilliant. Sylvia Striplin - You cant Turn me Away (Uno-Melodic) M- £35 The Monzas - You Know You Turn Me On (Moon) M- £120 Private pressed white group Northern with a funky edge, atmospheric and classy. Recently bigged up by someone on the board, can¢Å¾¢t think who? Manship had this at 300 quid I seem to remember. Earl Lett - Green Power (Beantown) M- £45 Rare Funk Shirley and the Shirelles - Never Give you Up (Bell) VG++ £25 Absolute crossover perfection, with a sound befitting a much higher price tag. Eddie Bo - Can You Handle It (Bo Sound) VG++ £25 More funk. Ambassadors - Aint Got The Love of One Girl (Arctic) G/VG- £10 Brilliant record, trashed copy. Starts noisy but then the music drowns out a lot of the noise, still playable and DJ-able at a push but no collector piece. Soul Tornadoes - Crazy Legs (Westwood) VG+ £40 Label badly water damaged but vinyl mostly clean - this is from a stock find a few years ago - all were water damaged. Funk again! Pal & The Prophets - Tea-Pee (Jamie) VG++ £15 Cracking scratchy dance floor funky R&B, similar to Honky Tonk Popcorn in my humble. Edited April 19, 2007 by Liam Large
