April 13, 200718 yr Author I know these are obvious bootlegs, its just I've not seen this batch before. If its acceptable to boot stuff these days without bothering to licence tracks then I think I'll start doing it myself. At 7.99 a pop (Frank Popp?) when the cost of having them produced must be about a couple of quid it beats working really. Is it acceptable? I know its a subject that has been covered a number of times but I feel it is important to stop the modern day bootlegger. IMO If every popular tune is booted and that is seen as acceptable, then playing said boots will also become acceptable, nobody will bother with originals. I understand why it was done in the 70's; at that time vinyl was the medium for music, but these days why buy bootleg vinyl unless you're going to DJ with it? CD's/mp3's etc are far more convenient for home use. If people think that because bootlegs have always been part of the scene and so bootlegging today is OK then its time to sell up and start bootlegging methinks. This awe we have for original vinyl must be wearing off. Cheers Paul

Must send those new Kent 45s down the pressing plant....
