Yes good idea Mike.......... biggrin.gif Oldies, Rare, Crossover sections, could work, things sometimes get mixed up in the current format.

I would definitely enjoy a 70's section Mike. Works well on another list I am a member of, and a lot of the players on the crossover scene are very knowledgable and would no doubt be good contributors accross the board (forgive the pun). Why not one for R&B, deep soul, contemporary modern etc too ?

Could make the site too fragmented...

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Agree with PIKEY on this one Mike thumbsup.gif ....

Too many "forums or sub-forums" will only fragment it.... as it is, "All About the SOUL" sums it up for me for genres of music.... same with "Look at your box?", "Events", "Sales" and "Wants".... covers whatever genre of music the topic is about :D ....

i wouldnt change it Mike. I like it how it is. I would also not worry too much about threads going off-topic because more times than not they usually become more interesting. IMO !

Agree with you there Shane about going off topic providing the new topic is relevant.Too many oneliners and private 'in' jokes make it more like a chat room than a forum.

Keep it soulful
