Guest Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 (edited) A few years ago I heard a nice early 80's tune by Jimmy Pryor & Rumor Hazzit called "I Want To Thank You". I promptly ordered a very cheap copy (it's a cheap record) but was VERY disappointed when the needle hit the vinyl, it was a different and inferior version to the one I heard. The bad version is more synthetic and almost done in a country style. I was told by someone that the "right" version had another label design, so when I saw a copy with another label design I ordered it, but was again disappointed to find the same crap version in the grooves! This took place a few years back, but I would still like to know how to visually distinguish the good version from the bad one. Edited April 4, 2007 by Guest
