Mr. Caldwell "Love Bandit/Love Has the Power" on Scorpion 104- 300 in the latest Manship book is this an acurate price for this item?

TIA

Would have thought the price in number two guide of £150 nearer the mark. Has JM got a box full to shift :lol:

I sold one of these a couple of years ago and have always regretted it. One of the handful I would buy back: a brilliant slice of gritty soul music. Anyone got one to sell? I think JM's price is about right.

The flip's pretty good as well.

I'd think about moving mine on for cash/decent trades.

Thanks guys, Its on its way from the US, will be on my list shortly unless I fall in love with it then I`ll convince myself I need to keep it! I dont think I know the record, sure I will when I hear it. Shifty said he listed his last copy (a few yeras ago) at £150 and had over 20 calls for it.

You will know this Chris I'm certain. Was an old Pat Brady spin from Stafford.

Think he played this at Wigan first.

Quite a few copies around when he was at Stafford. John Anderson found a few.

Think Dave Withers was the first to have this record?

Quite a while before Staffords 60's era though.

True. It was on the same list as the Royal Robins (imaginary visions c/u) cover up as Bud Harper - "Searching for treasure that can't be found''

for about £15 - £20. I got one of Ian Clark a few months later.

Played uncovered at Clifton Hall at least two years before that. I sold up 90% in 85. Sold it then (it never 'went'

Pat had one then, as did Poke, and I had a copy, all from Soul Bowl.

Think GarethX may be right about Dave Withers though.

Dave Thorley probably had a copy as well, is that the original Stafford link ?

Guy Hennigan would have played this at Stafford, still as Bud Harper.

I think Dave Withers was quite a bit before Guy, great record though and like you Gareth one I would like back!

Cheers
