Hi all!x I haven't been on here for 3 years...popped in to look for summink...not there...but I was welcomed with a 10+ years medal as a member!! WOOOHOOOO!!X I did start posting in 2003...but perhaps me bans here and there started me a new account again?!x Thank you for the recognition tho...much appreciated!x I've also answered a luvly pm from Bob Hinsley which he posted 3 years ago...sorry for the delay Bob!x

P.S....met a proper hard core Soulie from the 70s....EVERYBODY seems to have known him on FB forums until he went to the USA late 70s...for 25 years!x Character and crackers...luvd him...Chris Brick!!!x He told me about the early days before Wigan...he was everywhere...looking after all!!!! Great insight into the 'elite' of today...we all start somewhere!!!x To satisfy curiosity...I just popped in to see if anything was being discussed about Benisoul or the Comedy Carpet relaunching they are doing!x Found nowt.....okdokey!x Arghhhh...it's getting near 1 million words...don't want no trouble...I'm gone!x

Knew Chis & Harry back in the day (76) pre DEMOB days - Chris was always the calm one , I remember Harry on the balcony at the Casino with a roll neck top on - I said ain’t you hot which he pulled his jumper up to show a rounders bat in his belt as he was on the hunt for a non payer Last time I saw Chris would be about 88 at the Scrubs he was on remand for allegedly setting fire to something - I still talk to his brother on what’s app - great bloke, now he could tell you some crazy stories

...he made my day!x Wonderful guy to meet...and for once listen too!!x We were next to each other for 8 hours at an antiques fair at the Lincolnshire Showground!!x He kept coming over every 20 minutes with a new story....he loved reminiscing and remembered all crystal clear....amazing!x He said until meeting me he hadn't spoke to anyone about the scene for over 20 years...i made his day too!!x He sold probably 50 of his own paintings!!!!!! Wacky way our there pics...which I liked as did many punters! Great day for us both!x
