I'm sure somebody on here said that Kent only reissue cheap records , Tommy Tate £5K+ was it meant as tongue in cheek , wonderful record .

It might be rare ,but the mix on

the Ko Ko ‘45 isn’t half as good as the Japanese CD or the Grapevine 2000 / Kent singles .Im my opinion of course ….

That's part of the reason I saved myself £5176.00 and gave a tenner for Ady's release ...

The Spinners.   YIKES !!       thats lovely though. 

       The Ellusions,   probably the worst recording ever put on vinyl,  but the vocals are so good,   the sax solo is equally as good.   fabulous record !

It's not just the mix; the vocal take and guitar parts on the KoKo 45 are different takes than the modern day CD/7" "reissues". The original 45 is also missing parts of the horn arrangement and is more heavy on the guitar doing fills. There's a guitar solo between 1:47 to 2:02 that is entirely absent from the "reissued" version where that part is played by a saxophone instead.

Regardless of version, it's an absolutely sublime recording!

Have seen it on discogs for much more , but that doesn't mean it's worth £300 + , I think in today's market ,  Promo it's probably near the mark , is it currently getting spins again ??

Really interesting that, totally different to the Kent take as you say 

First heard it spun by Sam c. 1997 I guess, loved it then - would it have been this Koko demo take that he was playing at the time?
