Wants - It would help if priced.

Recently spotted a want request that made me think again.I occasionally have items that have been put up as wants but can’t be doing with tyre kicking.

I generally ignore wants because I don’t want the to and froing.

If people put up a ball park figure of what they want to pay it’s a simple message them or not,same as when I price my sales you buy or not.

I know people want a bargain but this is a knowledgable site and not much is going really cheap is it? 
Am I just being a miserable old git?

To be honest Trev the issue for me is the rudeness of some of the wants posts. Half of them don’t say please, thanks or any kind of courtesy. 
 

There was one a couple of weeks ago that was really aggressive which I found quite odd. Abuse potential sellers before youve even been offered a copy…way to go.

I may have a 45 they want, but they don’t get a reply from me I’m afraid.

Gotcha my man, like, when a self promoted "big" name on the scene comes on, expecting the mere mortals to offer one up for f__k all, you've been there in the record room at a do, and you've got a few for sale,  up comes "Bertie big bollocks " expecting you to be star struck and cave in on owt they show interest in

I absolutely agree. I replied to someone who is often seen on this wants section. The record that he wanted is a in my world worth around £1250 especially as the copy that I have is as close to a minter that you will ever see. But the bloke was complete nutcase, He messaged me at least 10 times, sometime accusing me a being a BS, other time telling me I was lying and didn't heve the record, Then 2 minutes later another messages say that he wanted to buy it, them 10 minutes later another abusive one. I made the crucial mistake of emailing him some picures and then it all stated again, more abusive messgaes, more saying he wanted to buy it then 5 minutes later one telling me he has found another copy that is better and he has bought that. Thank God I thought, BUT I noticed today he is still posting wants for exactly the same record! I am convinced that he is an absolute dreamboat who never actually buys anything.
