Guest Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 got my hands on a copy of funky city by rastafari sat 8 1973 on satril all ive been about to turn up is that it is a disc by hbh london,but nothing else doesnt seem to be many about ,unless you can tell me different so what the score,what are these these changing hands for? artist? any other tunes by them worth a spin? cheers
michael-j Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 prefer the flip, personally - a very nice funky folk type track ('In the Garden') no-one seems to know anything about the band, or even much about the label - a strange one i think, one of those bizarre UK labels with a right hodge podge of stuff

bro Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 Hi baz theres a record shop in norwich i visited bout 4 years ago,i forget the name of the owner but he proudly said he discovered it and he had sold quite a few copies to manship and tried to sell me one for 50 ! i declined and thought i would find one alot cheaper. iv not done a proper save/search on ebay but missed a couple on the bay for 20's and less. great track though !!!
