Condition bordering on VG+ and plays like a champ. Visual grade: Strong VG €1250 Sounds of Zodiac – She knows I love her / Rat Race – Carrie 600 Brittle crossover harmonies for the true heads. Demo only and a tough one to track down. Visual grade: M-, moderate warp NAP €500 Revelation Funk – Elastic lover / Bear funk – Gold Plate 1013 Game over Ohio ballad that was laying dormant on the flip of a cool laidback funk jam for years, but cat's of the bag by now of course. Visual grade: EX €400 The World Column – So is the sun / It's not right – Tower 510 Pounding Northern classic in super clean shape. Visual grade: M- €250 The Bobbettes – I've gotta face the world / Having fun – RCA 47-8832 Super clean copy of this Northern double-sider. Probably most well-known for the A side stormer, but the mighty fine R&B edged dancer is where it's at for me. Has a small amount of label discoloration on Having Fun side Visual grade: M-, tiny warp €200 The Diamonettes – Don't be surprised / Rules are made to be broken – Alston 45-4590 DJ Copy Top drawer ballad on this stone mint demo copy in its original sleve. Visual grade: M- €175 The Coronadas – You can do me some good / I'm sold on your love – Bright Star 45-157 Chicago ballad and a perfect alldayer sound. Deceptively rare issue copy. Visual grade: EX €175 Jimmey 'Soul' Clark – Sweet darlin / Stop that girl – Soulhawk 001 Classic Detroit sound on the PopcornWylie owned label. Visual grade: VG+ €140 Liz Damon's Orient Express – Woota (Feelin' good) / Crazy mixed up girl – Doncey 501 Sun soaked semi-instrumental funk 45 that was the result of an impromtu recording session in LA during a 1978 tour with the band. Visual grade: EX, minor warp NAP €120 Tito Ramos – Big T / Did anyone – Cotique 240 DJ Copy Atmospheric boogaloo funk with a dope ballad flip. Visual grade: Strong VG+, minor short warp NAP €120 Little Richie – One bo-dillion years / I catch myself crying – Sound Stage 7 SS45-2567 DJ Copy Driving Northern dancer with a deep soul ballad flip Visual grade: EX, minor warp NAP €120 Bobby Reed – You are / I'm not coming back – Clay Town 17700 Local DC issue before it got picked up by Brunswick for national distribution. Both sides are worth checking out. Visual grade: Strong VG+ €100 Clara Walker & The Gospel Redeemers – Say it loud / Open up your heart – Soul Music Co 590 Wailin' femme gospel funk from the Bronx. Found a small stack some years back, kept the cleanest one but pulled it out of the collection during a recent trim. Will probably end back up there if it doesn't sell from the list. Visual grade: VG+ €75 The Para-Monts – Come go with me / I don't wanna lose you – Ole' 101 Bangin' Chicago dancer with a ballad flip on the sought-after Otis Brown label. Lots of marks but benefits from a strong press. Ballad predictably plays with more noise but clears up once it gets going. Visual grade G+ €75 The Soul Merchants – Tender-loving-care / Talking about you girl – Tri-City 319 Uplifting early crossover double-sider from Michigan (although the flip has a distinct Chicago feel) Visual grade: M-, minor warp NAP €75 Flame N' King – Big bad shingaling / Only time can tell – Raines 2072 East coast b-boy funk breaks. Plays well above grade. Visual grade: VG- €70 Minnie Riperton – Les fleur /Oh! By the way – GRT 42 DJ Copy Classic cut from the album on a baller white demo. Visual grade: VG+ €70 Ike & Tina Turner – Can't chance a break up / Stagger Lee and Billy – Sue 139 Northern / R&B dancer. Looks unplayed but has some label wear on both sides. Visual grade: M- €65 Billy Jones and The Stars – Sh's comin' home / Look out – Imperial 5C 006-24450 Strong personal fave ballad that only exists on this Dutch press. No pic sleeve on this copy unfortunately, center pressed out and plays slightly off-center, not affecting play. Visually a pretty strong VG and an enjoyable listen. Visual grade: VG, minor warp €60 Bub Jordan – That's what I'll do / Guess who – Buccaneer 501 Uplifting Jackson, Mississippi teen rarity to chase away the winter blues. Visual grade: Strong VG €60 The Tridels – Land of love / Image of my love – San-Dee 1009 Uptempo Philly doo wop. Clean OG copy. Visual grade: EX, moderate warp NAP €50 Ed Robinson – Temptation's 'bout to get me / Face it – Atco 45-6812 DJ Copy Beautiful early 70s version of the Knight Brothers tune Visual grade: EX, moderate warp NAP €50 The Dynels – C'mon little darlin' / Just a face in the crowd – Natural 7001 DJ Copy LA female group soul cut with Oma Heard on lead. Visual grade: EX €35 Jair Rodriguez – Camara...ê / Triste madrugada – Philips 365.217 Awesome Samba dancer with open drums Visual grade: VG, minor warp NAP €35 The Channels – You can count on me / Old Chinatown – Groove 58-0061 DJ Copy Cheap but great sixties harmonies with a transitional doo wop soul flip. Popcorn spin as well when appropriately pitched. Visual grade: EX €25 Full list with sound and scans can be viewed here: https://mailchi.mp/ce482b11aef7/1nc6s8682q-18095172?e=ca86488052
