Tommy1 Posted February 22 Posted February 22 I am seeking label scans for my forthcoming book, so I need help from you good, rare soul people! Please have a look at the list to see if you can help me! What is the book about? In short. The book looks at how soul music gave power and voice to the African American fight for civil rights and identity. It uses politically charged 45s from the 1960s and 70s to show how the lyrics spoke to the diverse struggles of black Americans during important times. Ideal scans would have the following specifications: · US labels only · Clean labels without writing · Minimum size of 1000x1000 pixels or higher resolution · 300 dpi · TIF format, if possible, otherwise uncompressed JPG · 1-inch black vinyl border surrounding the label · Horizontal alignment (label centered) If you don’t have a scanner, you can photograph the label with your phone camera. Please place the phone on a steady, flat surface and use the highest resolution setting (see picture) If you are able to contribute any appropriate label scans, please send me a pm. Your help with this project is greatly appreciated. Best, Tommy Scans needed updated February 19, 2025.pdf 1
