Every thing I read would suggest Phelectron is his actual name?  Some articles refer him to being known as Phlecky to his friends?

Personally it's not for me, it's certainly not the best record ever recorded but it is better than some of the crap that masquerades as Northern Soul and far better than most of the funky sh*te we hear these days.
