Barry Posted March 29, 2007 Posted March 29, 2007 Cheers mate I've just re read this thread and realised I was talking about the Leon Patillo album being titled the same as the track that got the play 'I'll Never Stop Loving You' - I think you were asking what the Donn Thomas album was called - 'it was 'You're The One'.

Mark R Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 Really....tell me more...I've got the 1210 so I might be able to avoid the extra cost of the PC thingy...Jo Jo, I bought one of those Citronic AC-1USB gadgets that I think were mentioned on here a while back. These seem to retail at £50, but I got one brand new off eBay for £42 inc delivery. You can plug a phono output or a line output into this and plug it into your USB, and away you go!! Comes with free recording software, but I have had a bad experience with that and have had to switch to a different piece of software. A cheaper option than a £120 turntable.............and takes up less space if you already have a turntable!! Cheers, Mark R

THANX Niceonecyril ! Btw , what a SMASHIN' list above by you ! When i started to explore online back around 2002 , i noticed Corky's site and was even more surprised to see his album availabe. I once heard the vinyl-copy at a dj's house and since then been searching for the soul , lol. I have to check these also ... heard of their names before : - As Always:Rickie Dillard - Passionate Breezes:Charles Jackson - Keep On Doin:Ty Karim & George Griffin Cheerz !
Guest niceonecyril Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 Hello Bionic Boogie I've got the Corky McClerkin on original vinyl its on an indie Chicago label (whose name escapes me) but is quite hard to find now.The Ricky Dillard is a great soulful house version of the Stevie Wonder classic and it came out on Trax records in the late 8t's. Passionate Breezes is from the LP of the same name which came out on Capitol in the early 8t's also check out the version by the Dells. Keep On Doin' came out on a 12" on the Sheridan House label 1987ish.Hope this is of some help.
Djmelismo Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 Been trying to listen to the clips posted in this thread. I click the icon, the player appears, but the song never starts playing. When I press play, a circle goes round and round and round, but the clip doesn´t play. I´ve tried different options, but nothing seems to work. Probably just me, or...?
