1   J J Barnes – Deeper In Love b/w Say It – Ric-Tic WDJ M- £35 like most on the label rare on a demo, a great mid-tempo side & upbeat flip     -     SOLD 

2   The Dawnbreakers – She’ll Meet Her Match b/w Here Is My Answer – Raldo M- £150 obscure Detroit group harmony mid-tempo mover penned by Kris Peterson & co-produced by Sam Matley of the Samo label fame, slight label wear only vinyl mint, old Martin Koppell list tip in the early 80’s & had plays via Hyde Botanical & Warrington Parr Hall, seldom heard & listed these days & great upbeat R & B flip

3   Jerry Fuller – I Get Carried Away – Challenge WDJ Ex £75 the feintest of surface marks only but plays superbly throughout hence price & includes rare company sleeve, big city soul atmospheric mid-tempo grower from this talented singer, songwriter & producer, blue eyed soul perfection

4   Tommy Good – Baby I Miss You b/w Leaving Here – Gordy M- £100 vinyl issue of this double sided blue eyed dancer that’s stood the test of time, great upbeat dancer & stormin’ version of the Eddie Holland Motown number on flip

5   Gerri Granger – Castle In The Sky – Big Top WDJ Ex+ £75 small chip on edge but not on run in so plays perfectly & it’s a vinyl demo, long overlooked for her early sides & all her Big Top numbers are superb, this is a great atmospheric big city soul mid-tempo grower

6   Gerri Granger – Ain’t It Funny – Big Top M- £150 one of her toughest to find, a great upbeat big production big city soul dancer & a mint vinyl issue copy, seen at $200+ recently, current plays

7   Paul Guitar Red Johnson – Pretty Eyed Baby – Checker M- £35 mint vinyl issue of this tough label number, great haunting mid-tempo R & B mover & a lovely clean copy

8   Rozetta Johnson – That Hurts – Atlantic WDJ  M- £70 lovely vinyl demo of this under played 1965 big production atmospheric girlie dancer, old Nev Wherry spin & release date w.o.l. on flip 9/65, not often seen for sale these days     -    SOLD  

9   Gloria Lynne – You Don’t Have To Be A Tower Of Strength – Everest M- £50 mint pristine copy      -     SOLD of this great girlie dancer, much copied Burt Bacharach co-penned number & the best of all versions

Plus copy with light label wear only vinyl Ex plays as M- £30

10 The Valiant Trio – I’ll Make Her Mine – E V Records M- £150 another great Detroit group, upbeat harmony dancer that’s seldom heard or played these days penned by the great Matthew Barnett, old Bishop Auckland & Wilton spin that’s stood the test of time, a nice ZTSC stamped copy

11 Vito And The Salutations – I’d Best Be Going – Sandbag Ex+ £45 one of only a handful of releases on the label & big in the 80’s,  a superb mid-tempo group harmony dancer not often heard these days & still sounds great          -     SOLD

12 Baby Washington – Leave Me Alone – Sue M- £45 mint vinyl issue of this atmospheric big production mid-tempo big city soul dancer that’s sold for £100 in previous years, just a great record from one of the great female singers     -     SOLD
