Tom Creeden Posted January 15 Posted January 15 hi graham, another great insight into detroit groups --- hope you might have some more thanks tom creeden
Chalky Posted January 15 Posted January 15 Look forward to listening. I wrote an article about the Martinique's when we knew very little, no doubt learn more about the group and its members. Thanks for posting.

This interview was done well over 20 years ago, but hopefully there's something you didn't know. Did you talk to anyone, like Fab, when you wrote the article? I didn't cover the last 45 (?) the group had on the Me-O label as Fab had left by then. 2

I had some quotes from him and some gap fillers.
Robbk Posted January 15 Posted January 15 Great interview. Thanks Graham. Especially getting to hear that Four Clippers Fox record I got to see in several friends collections, but was never able to find a playable copy. I knew Jay Davis was a Detroit singer, and have a few solo records by him, but didn't know he was in all those different groups that I had all those '60s records. I knew about the early 70s records, but never bought them.

The only scan I have is the one I used on ebay, which I'd obscured... the high-res scan got lost somewhere on my hard drive. Shame. Here's the one that sold on eBay...
Neckender Posted January 19 Posted January 19 Yet another great interview Graham. Essential and now documented information for Soul connoisseurs. More please!!
