Zanetti Posted yesterday at 14:54 Posted yesterday at 14:54 Hello team, please give me some feedback if anyone knows: Is there a boot from: ‘Everybodys Dancin‘ w/ Thats A Friend’ (7210) I got hold of a very cheap copy (stock), but I remember it differently. The deadwax takes up almost half of the vinyl, the label is matt, no dh and the matrix is the same as described here. I had a copy before and remembered it as much ‘heavier vinyl’, a slightly more glossy label and with not so thin, flexible vinyl. Would be very cool if someone here could compare it with their copy. Many thanks Zanetti
Solidsoul Posted yesterday at 17:27 Posted yesterday at 17:27 (edited) Certainly looks like a modern reproduction. Not a record from 1964! It doesn't look like any of my M-Pac records. A picture I found of an original. Edited 22 hours ago by Solidsoul 1
Happy Feet Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago If it is a boot , there are none doing the rounds , eBay etc , at least not yet ! 1
Happy Feet Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago This a copy currently on eBay £ 157. There's a definite difference in the label , and dead wax , but here is the label , 1
Zanetti Posted 22 hours ago Author Posted 22 hours ago Thanks for the feedback. Yes, there are too many signs of a modern pressing. Everything really seems far too up-to-date 1
Woodbutcher Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Looks exactly like this one that went through fleabay end of December , or is this the copy you ended up with and are now querying ? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/305713032688
Woodbutcher Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago And a lot of his other items look decidedly suspect to these eyes ... ! https://www.ebay.co.uk/str/rockinvinyl?_trksid=p4429486.m3561.l170197 1

Blackpoolsoul Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago (edited) Might or might not help but according to Discogs original is 1304-01-A 3018 ∫∫ matrix, so mastered at Sound Studios, Chicago. If it is a boot it would be hard to replicate ? Edited 9 hours ago by Blackpoolsoul 1

I haven't looked at the whole ‘shop’. it looks very suspiciously like a bootleg. One advert also refers to ‘first pressing’ - and if you take a closer look, it is also correctly addressed to the buyer. He largely dispenses with the term ‘original’
