Tricky Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago It’s getting tedious now. 27th delivery arrived. 2 short, 3 not what was ordered.Issue instead of demo (already have) They will be going back as soon as my 31st order is despatched, arrives and checked for incompetence.Another of his Discogs mistakes seems to be just lobbing his items anywhere.I order an item as vinyl release and get styrene. His whole operation needs an overhaul.Doesnt matter if its half price sale or not.No communication,no fulfilling of orders, not getting what does come right.Going back to chronological order, yeah like f..k.Not really listening to the MANSHIP apologists anymore. 2

My interest was in your reply to go sort it out, I have not ordered any record so your willingness to help is appreciated but not needed.

Absolutely Graham. I'm sure some people are very frustrated but suggesting going round to Johnny's place is just inflammatory nonsense. Encouraging people to check out where his address is sounds intimidating - however frustrated people might be there's no need for that sort of talk. On a completely different note, I hope all is well Graham my old mate. Happy New Year Sir. Peter 4

I am certain the said post was just a bit of bravado and not taken seriously by anyone. I am fine thanks and hopefully you are doing well too and a happy new year to you too. 1
Samson Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago It seems like they are working on orders for the 30th right now based on negative feedbacks on discogs . I’ve got an order from Dec. 30th and another January 13th I’m still waiting to hear about. BTW - would be nice if people state their order date when updating orders fulfilled/cancelled.
Supercorsa Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago I saw this video earlier this morning, but have just placed an order for a couple of records. I'm willing to wait for delivery. I mean used to take a week or two (sometimes longer) when buying from the US on Ebay. https://www.facebook.com/share/v/18S4zNzu9g/

Phillydog66 Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Yes the same as me tried phone calls no response same with emails.

I ordered 11 Jan and received yesterday 17 Jan. I must've been one of the lucky ones. Slightly embarrassed to have my records in my hands already given folks that are still waiting. I appreciate it's frustrating, they'll get to it all in time. Astonishing number of orders... 2
Soulmanstu Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago I like to buy off JM if only for the fact you know it's usually in great condition (imo) . the half price sale continues until the end of the month and although I'm not the biggest Motown fan I do collect the uk label . He had loads of 11-1200 45s that when reduced to half price were cheaper or same price as those on discogs etc so I ordered 28 45s in total not all Motown .I ordered on 31st December and paid via my usual PayPal .. I'm actually still waiting for them to arrive having seen a couple of posts on FB he's dealing with a lot of orders and asks to bear with him . 2

Ncfc Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago What i don't get is how can a business let you pay for something that isn't in stock and that could never possibly be in stock again. 1
Woodbutcher Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) Having an immense number of items listed on a website at a particular moment in time is one thing. Trying to find that actual physical item amongst FOUR MILLION items scattered over mutiple storage facilities is quite a task , and given that any one of them may have been ordered by multiple potential buyers over the course of the week between the sale starting and the orders starting to be processed then it's easy to see how stuff can be 'out of stock' by the time another order for said 45 is sent for picking. I doubt that many can actually visualise just what a million actually is , it's a word that's bandied about so often. If you start counting right now , 1,2,3,4 ... etc , one a second , every second , non-stop , it will take you eleven and a half days to get to that million mark , so forty-six days to get to four million. You'll all be bleating next that he has no upcoming auctions after next Wednesday. Edited 51 minutes ago by Woodbutcher

Is there a way to see the total number listed for sale? 4 million sounds like an awful lot

Think how much money has been sent for none existent records. Bit like energy companies who have some of our money in their bank as credit.

That has been my thinking, both the record I bought and received and a subsequent order are both still listed for sale,I know from a previous purchase John does have multiple copies of certain records but i doubt he would on some of the more expensive items which could be where some of the out of stock complaints arise. I looked on Discogs and from what I read the seller has to delete an item sold manually, don't know if I'm 100% correct on that, perhaps someone on here who sells on there could give us an idea how it works, whether it is simple. I do think a lot of the flak John has received would have been avoided if he had explained why orders were not dealt with chronologically as is evident from some of the posts on here, I got my order before others who had ordered 7 days before me. The second order from Monday of this week is still being processed, obviously ordered knowing patience would be required which given the money saved I am happy with.
