I’ve just checked out the Spanish and Italian version where there are only sellers from that country. Maybe that was what he saw ?

You can filter your Marketplace sources by country but there's no separate UK Discogs site that I'm aware of.

Occasionally when I’ve googled Discogs a foreign version has been returned by the search. Don’t know why, maybe just a glitch from Discogs, but it’s happened on more than one occasion. I would guess that they host the site in various global locations for security and access purposes. 1

Seems this was a popular record in the US from the comments. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aAk-3U2ODdo @Sceneman a few questions for you. Could Guy Stevens play anything and the crowd would go along with him? Was there a quick turnover of records as in the fashions. For example would a record like Alvin Cash -Twine Time get plays as a US new release but be dropped by the time it came out on Stateside? You said Monkey Time by Major Lance wasn't played at the Scene, so were there other UK issued records not played there as the club tried to be more exclusive?
Ady Potts Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 (edited) @Sceneman I find your posts regarding The Scene Club & London clubs in general from the 60's really interesting & would like to see more. Edited December 30, 2024 by Ady Potts
Geoff Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 Monkey Time by Major Lance was played at The Scene, as was Hey Little Girl, Um Um Um Um Um Um, The Matador, Rhythm and his version of Watusi, played off an LP in 1964. I was there. 3
